Maisy Turns 2!!
I cant believe that my little girl is two!
We celebrated Maisyn's Birthday on Sunday but her actual birthday was Monday 23rd April. What a day it was two years ago when she was showing her stubbornness already and made me wait 4 days past her due but let me get to hospital with 14mins to spare before she greeted us with her presence.
She is a beautiful girl filled with SOOOOO much personality and attitude. She makes me smile so much and gives us happiness everyday. We love you to bits Maisy Moo! xx
Here are some photos from our lovely day on Sunday.

Baylins corner of our room
Baylin is 10 weeks now and we have just moved the cot into our room. He is getting too big for the bassinette (moses basket) so i thought it was safer to put him in the cot. He is sharing a room with Deacon so we still want him in our room until he fully sleeps through the night. (currently only waking once!)
I wanted to make his corner of the room something special for him though so I made this cute little bunting and raindrop mobile for him to gaze at. He loves colours and movement so it makes me smile everytime I walk in our room.

Nesting...
Finally in the last few days leading up to the birth of Baylin I tackled a job I have been wanting to do for months!! Make a blanket for Maisy's bed...
And sure enough the nesting came into action and I achieved something I had been putting off for ages!
Maisy was very happy with the finished product and it looks great in her room

Our family of 4 became 5!!

3 weeks have passed since the birth of my third child and I think its about time that I got back into some work!!
Firstly Happy New Year to you all and I hope you have had a great start to 2012. I defiantly have :)
It is so nice not to be pregnant anymore and feel half normal. More energy and I am starting to get me sewing motivation back to get started on some new things. For the next few months anyway the goal is to start sewing again for a few outstanding wholesale customers and then slowly list things online for sale. With 3 kids under 3 and 1/2 markets are going to take a back seat for the short term. Working from home is much better option at the moment
3 weeks ago today my son Baylin Phillip was born at 12.24am (missed his due date by 24mins) weighing in at a big (for me!) 8 pound 3. My other two were 7pound and 7 pound 5! He was 52cms long.
I choose to have him in the family birth centre this time round and it was the best thing I could of done. The midwifes were great during the whole pregnancy and the birth was as good as it could be DRUG FREE but its so worth it in the end.
Its amazing how busy you can be with two kids and then a third one comes along and your love just grows stronger and stronger. I couldn't be a more proud and happy mum! (or MOM as Maisy calls me..hehe)
Deacon and Maisy have settled in so well to having a little brother and they love him to bits. Deacon tells me everyday when he sees him in the morning.... "Hes such a little cutie mum!" and Maisy loves when I put him on the change mat as she goes into mum mode and goes and gets his nappy to help change.
I plan to use my blog heaps more this year so I can share all my work and family news!!
Thanks for reading and looking forward to getting back into some work

Name Change and big things for 2011
I hope everyone has had a fantastic Christmas and a great start to the New Year. I have had a wonderful time with my family and have lots planned for 2011.. so let hope its a great year :)
It has been a while since I posted and I just wanted to update you (1 and a bit months late) that the name change is all done! Gromarts now trades as Maisy Dee.
The name comes from my beautiful children. 'Maisy' for my daughter Maisyn and 'Dee' for my son Deacon!
Lots of things happening in 2011. Firstly I have decided that one market per week is too much and I need to see my family! Therefore I will be still doing lots of markets but having a weekend off here and there. This will also then give me more time to focus on my website and update my shop with new products more often.
I have some great stockists already but I will be also working on getting some more over the next few months.
In March Maisy Dee will be featured in Studio Bambini Magazine which I am very excited about..
I have also been working on a few new products and the first one I can tell you about is some small baby rattles.. Very cute and great for small hands! Available at upcoming markets.
Upcoming Markets::
I dont have too much sorted out just yet but I do know of the following:
Sunday 6th Feb 2011
Fairy Floss Market - Doncaster
Sunday 27th Feb 2011
Mathildas Market - Hawthorn Town Hall
I will update when I have more confirmed. You can also check my website www.maisydee.com.au to check market dates.
Well I thought I would leave you with a few happy snaps from over the Christmas period.
Take Care
